Production of the new model range of Sollers SF5 light commercial vehicles using full-cycle technology has started at the SOLLERS Alabuga plant. Serial production units rolled off the assembly line in the presence of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOLLERS PJSC Adil Shirinov.
The Sollers SF5 is the first Russian vehicle of its class to be fitted with an automatic gearbox as standard.
“SOLLERS takes a responsible approach to fulfilling the obligations it assumes, which were included in the special investment contract at the initial stage, and is gradually developing the new product range. Not long ago, last year in fact, we launched the production of tourist buses in the Far East, and before that, the previous generation of the Sollers Atlant. I am confident that in the future, the SOLLERS company, both at other sites and in Alabuga, will steadily expand its product range and model range, increase the level of localization, and also provide work to other enterprises in the automotive component industry. In recent years, the automotive components industry has received a new lease of life through the development of units and component production. And SOLLERS company actively contributes to this, providing workload and orders to a wide range of Russian companies in this sector,” noted First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

“By launching full-scale production of the Sollers SF5 model, the SOLLERS Group responds to the market needs for modern, technological solutions for commercial transport that ensure high operational efficiency, as well as maximum comfort for the driver and passengers. We are the first in Russia to introduce a light commercial vehicle with an automatic transmission to the market, and we intend to further expand our presence in this segment, supplementing the product line with new models with the best price-to-performance ratio,” noted Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOLLERS PJSC Adil Shirinov.
The Sollers SF5 combines increased levels of comfort, safety and reliability, as well as adaptability to business tasks. The Sollers SF5 line includes all-metal vans, cargo-passenger versions, passenger buses and chassis for special equipment, which makes the model a universal solution for intracity delivery and intercity transportation.
The car is provided with a fully localized 2.7-liter diesel engine which complies with Euro-5 environmental standards, with an output of 150 hp. The gearbox is a six-speed automatic with a torque converter.
Already at the production launch stage, Russian-made components are installed on the Sollers SF5 – a set of driver assistance systems, a telematics system unit, batteries, radiators, seats and glazing. The car body panels are made of Russian galvanized steel, which increases the vehicle’s corrosion resistance. It is planned that by the end of this year the localization level of the new model will be 70 %.
The Sollers SF5 features improved noise insulation and ergonomics. The standard vehicle system includes LED daytime running lights, heated and electrically adjustable rear-view mirrors, electric windows, a multi-function steering wheel, air conditioning, an on-board computer, cruise control, an audio system with MP3 support, USB ports for charging devices and cup holders.
An increased level of safety is provided by ABS, ESC, hill start assist, two airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The warranty for Sollers SF5 family vehicles is two years without mileage limitation. New cars will appear at official dealerships in the third quarter of 2025.
