SOLLERS GROUP HAS BEGUN PRODUCTION OF TRANSFER CASES AT THE ZMZ INDUSTRIAL SITE

A subsidiary of SOLLERS Group, SOLLERS Transmission Production LLC, has begun production of electromechanical transfer cases for the Sollers pickup truck model range and UAZ vehicles. The ceremonial launch took place in the presence of Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Sanosyan and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOLLERS PJSC Adil Shirinov.

Under the scope of the project, production of electromechanical transfer cases for the Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickup truck model range, as well as UAZ Patriot, Pickup and all-wheel drive Profi vehicles, has been launched on the territory of the ZMZ industrial park. Today, the first run of new vehicles was produced at the Zavolzhye facilities.

The project envisages localization of casting and mechanical processing operations for the crankcase, implementation of assembly operations and control and monitoring tests. The total output on the project will be about twenty thousand units per year. The total investment will exceed 350 million rubles, which will be financed with the help of a loan from the Industrial Development Fund.

The new project will allow us to master advanced technologies, create additional jobs and ensure high localization of vehicles manufactured under the Sollers brand, as well as significantly improve the performance of UAZ vehicles,” noted Ilnur Sakhabiev, General Director of SOLLERS Transmission Production, LLC.
