UAZ OAO has extended its RUR15,000 off deals on the UAZ Patriot Pickup and Cargo until 1 July 2010. The deal applies to all configuration packages of those SUV models if manufactured in 2009 or 2010. The UAZ off-roaders are also on the list for the government-sponsored “cash for clunkers” program. When an old car is traded for a new UAZ Patriot series car, the owner gets RUR65,000 off the new vehicle.

In the end, a standard-package UAZ Patriot will cost RUR425,000 after trade-in, while the multi-purpose UAZ Pickup is now available for as little as RUR395,000.

With the extra 3% off under the Sollers-Credit program, the new UAZ buyer can get as much as RUR130,000 off the new vehicle on a government-sponsored credit plan.

“Our authorized dealerships are backed up with UAZ Patriot orders,” said UAZ Sales Director A. Karpov. “We decided to extend the deal so everyone who wants it can get it.”
