David Herman (1946) was with General Motors for 29 years, including 10 years in the position of a vice-president.

He has established GM-AUTOVAZ, the largest Russian joint automobile venture, was the chairman of the board of Adam Opel, AG, the general director of SAAB Automobile and a representative of General Motors in a number of countries.

He was the first representative of General Motors in Spain, where he supervised the establishment of GM Espana in 1978-1982.

Currently, Mr Herman is a member of the American-Russia Business Council of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia and RAND Corp. Russia Business Leaders Forum and an independent director in the Issuer.

Mr Herman graduated from New York University, holds a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School and a JD degree from Harvard Law School. He received the German Bundesverdienstkreuz and the Belgian Order of Leopold honours.
